After selling their Mountain Drive residence in October, 1961, the Van Bergens bought the Bella Vista property in November and started planning the house they would build there. In May 1962, they bought, remodeled and lived in this house while they were building the Bella Vista Residence. It was sold in Sept 1963 for a profit. They then lived temporarily in a "beach house" for three months until they moved into Bella Vista in December, 1963. |
