          In 1960 when planning began, the area where this was to be built was "out in the country".  Now this location is in the middle of a large strip mall and the store demolished to make way.  Construction was started in 1961 and the store opened its doors in May 1962.
Van Bergen's own description:

          "10" concrete block walls, laid in textured pattern, painted.  Flat roofs.  Concrete floor.  Laminated girders full width of building, 62'.  Open display spaces with balcony in rear."
