This design by Van Bergen was never built. From 1906 until 1915, Mr. W. A. Rogers lived in Oak Park at 547 N. Euclid, in a house designed by the firm of Tallmadge and Watson. In 1915 he moved to Warwood Farm (named from his own initials W.A.R - wood). It is not known why Rogers rejected Van Bergen's design. The Van Bergen design would have been spectacular on the wooded and hilly site. It is unfortunate that it was never built.
