Mrs. L. Griess Residence - 1914

          This house is massed similarly to the Yerkes Residence but has a flat roof.  The veranda is smaller than that of the Yerkes, was originally open and is not excavated underneath (the Yerkes is excavated and the porch was enclosed originally).
          The permit is dated June 21, 1914.  This house is next door to the Erskine Residence at 714 Columbian which was built about six months earlier in 1913.
