This house was similar to the Mrs. Charles Yerkes Residence - but instead of a studio, there was a large sleeping porch over the entrances.  The house was 2 stories of balloon frame construction.  The exterior surfaces were horizontal wide board siding up to the second story sills.  Above was stucco with cypress trim.  There were 3 bedrooms and 1 bath upstairs.  There was a full basement.  On the first floor there were the Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen.  There was also a porch/veranda which was enclosed.  The fireplace was orange roman brick.  The trim and casings were probably red oak.
