Probably on or near Green Bay Road, Van Bergen designed this building and took great pains to make the design look as plain as possible so that no one would be able to identify it as one of his. He was embarrassed about building a liquor store, but desperately needed the work. He was paid off for this project in "Raggedy Ann" canned goods. |
