          Mr. Gruenhut, who was Van Bergen's accountant and who lived up the hill from the Van Bergen's, lost his home in the same wildfire as they.  He commissioned Van Bergen to build his new house on the old foundations.  In Van Bergen's diary he noted what a pleasure it was to be working on this project after being idle for some time.
          The house has been completely remodeled and a second story added.  It no longer resembles Van Bergen's design.  Some documentation still exists including specifications.
