PERFECTION CHURN COMPANY, Owatonna, C.K.B. [Bennett]

A job of designing some letter paper, carried out by W. G. P. To my mind, churns spoke of spring and buttercups on the meadows, so I did it in green and yellow on pale blue paper. The design [on the 1939 draft WGP had written: "was a bit childish, but it"] seemed to satisfy. At least it had novelty and advertising value in a day when business stationery was very literal indeed.
