During the early days of the Provincetown Players, the tasks of presenting plays were shared by all members of the group. Putting up scenery for Eugene O'Neill's Bound East for Cardiff in 1916 are the playwright himself, standing on a ladder, and his associates (left to right) Francis Buzzell, Hippolyte Havel, William Stuart, B. J. Nordfeldt, Frank Jones, Henry M. Hall and George Cram Cook.
