Presentation drawing, ground floor plan
Colored pencil on paper, mounted on masonite panel
This drawing of the proposed ground floor plan was mounted on a large masonite panel by John Jager in preparation for the Purcell and Elmslie exhibition at the Walker Art Center in 1953. The selection of this unbuilt house for exhibit at the first scholarly recognition of the firm's work is interesting. Purcell talks about the client but not the design in his Parabiographies entry.
