Parabiographies entry, Volume for 1910
Text by William Gray Purcell

Job Date (in Parabiographies): January 20, 1912

Phi Alpha Theta, University of Minnesota

A fraternity initiation room in the basement of the "frat house"; lots of silly secrecy. Certain final arrangements made for the alumni president to direct the carpenters who were old friends of ours and mildly amused with it all, coming to us after hours. We were not allowed to enter the room even for preliminary measurements or to direct the work - but the carpenters and electricians just had to go into the sacred precinct.
