Portrait, 1923

Photograph taken by William Gray Purcell in 1923, in the study at Jager's house on Red Cedar Lane in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  This image was used as the cover for an issue of Northwest Architect [1948 (vol. XII, #5)] which included the reprint of "What the Engineer Thinks" (pp. 6‑8), Jager's only published organic statement that appeared originally in the July, 1915, issue of The Western Architect.
